About the design:
"The boombox is wellknown for its place as a once-relevant pop culture icon that helped shape hiphop into what it has become but it's portable nature also meant that you were likely to spot a number of these on the beach, even today. Nothing like bringing your own tunes if you're bound for the shore on hot summer days, so I sought to create a design that would combine classic elements of the ghetto blaster design with a floral theme that continues to be fashionable in beach wear. Also, it was an excuse to take my obsession for rococo motifs to a new, somewhat modern, level"
